Natalie Cole

Lonny and I went out on date night on Friday. We went to one of our favorite sushi - Japanese restaurants in the bay area, Yoshi's. The chef there is very creative and the food is amazing.
We sat next to a couple who was celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary. The husband was so cute. He arranged to have flowers delivered to their table before they arrive so when they go to the table the wife saw the gorgeous arrangement. He then gave her some jewelry and a card. He was giddy with excitement and she was so happy. It was so cute to see the couple still be romantic with each other after 33 years.
Yoshi's has a concert hall that features mainly jazz singers from all over the world. This weekend Natalie Cole performed.
Natalie Cole is the daughter of Nat "King" Cole. Did you know she is 60? She looks amazing and sings so beautifully.
She sang many songs from all genre's including her fathers "Unforgettable". She sang with him during the concert. They ran a film of him singing and pictures of her when she was a little girl. She sang along with him. It was beautiful. I think one of my favorite songs was "This will be (and Everlasting Love)".
I was so thankful for the evening with Lonny and the ability to see such a wonderful iconic performer!
