On Saturday Lonny and I drove up to Redding (4 hrs) to watch his neice (8 years old) cheer. Casie was so excited that uncle Lonny came to see her. I was amazed at how serious people take the football and cheer leading for 8 year olds. They played and cheered at the high school field. Plus, the next day Casie had a cheer leading competition to perform in all day...all day for 8 year olds? WOW? Times have changed. It was great to spend time with Lonny's family and support Casie.
