Nite with an Olympic Champion

In the spirit of the Olympic games, a supplier that we work with at Safeway, Tyson sponsored Mary Lou Retton to a few days of visits at Safeway. One night we attending a small intimate cocktail hour with her...there were only 12 of us. So we were able to spend some nice time with her. She's very down to earth, has a lot of charisma, and funny. I'm not sure of her age...probably around 42-43...maybe 44. She now has 4 kids and lives in Houston. She just returned from China when she came to visit us. We asked her who would be her best friend on the women's Olympic gymnast team now if she were 16 and competing and she said Shawn Johnson. We had a great experience and a lot of fun. What a dynamite woman!
