Here we go Steelers

We made our annual trip back to our "Second Home" - Pittsburgh, PA - the CherrySprings Neighborhood.
You know a neighborhood is special when you can be moved away for 3 1/2 years and when you go back it feels like home. Not home to just one set of friends, but many.
Our friends Jeff and Sue opened up their house to us the whole weekend. Of course, they started it out right but staying up all night on Thursday just catching up. We hadn't seen them since July 2008 and it was like we never left.
They threw a party at their house on Saturday night so we could catch up with all of our other neighborhood friends. It was so awesome to see them. Truly, I felt as if I never moved. Good thing I just didn't cross the street and walk into our old house. It felt that normal.
We sold our house to a great family. They fit into the neighborhood perfectly which makes me feel so much better. They have 3 or 4 kids around the same ages as all the kids in the neighborhood. Plus, the dad likes to dance. I'm telling you, this neighborhood loves to dance...especially in kitchens on New Years Eve!
Sunday we did the traditional Steeler Tailgate party in the parking lot next to the field. The game wouldn't be the same without a tailgate! The game was great. We beat the Browns! Yeah!
So much fun! Oh, Sophia loved it too...She was cheer leading for the Steelers at our neighbor Sean and Kathy's house who were so generous to watch her while we were at the game.
